Books for Life International represent a simple and practical way in which we seek to empower communities through books in their quest to better education. Many African students and adults have never owned a book. For some of them to own a book is a dream. In many classrooms in Africa, 12 to 25 students share one text book. About 75% of schools have empty library or no library at all. We believe availability of books in school in Africa will help student to possess knowledge in order to survive in a knowledge based global community.
There are enough books in developed countries to meet the need of millions of people in the poorest communities around the world.
